Why every disk map needs an exact list

Area is excellent for proportion, but poor for exact comparison and safety decisions. DiskKind pairs both views.

A space-filling map quickly reveals which places dominate a folder. It is less effective when many cells are similar, labels do not fit, or a cautious person needs an exact byte value.

DiskKind makes the sortable list authoritative and uses the Space Map for hierarchy and proportion. Small cells are combined into one measured aggregate rather than drawn as misleading noise. Selection, breadcrumbs, icons and words preserve meaning without depending on colour.

The separate Reclaim view answers a different question: which exact items have enough evidence to review? A large rectangle is never treated as permission to delete.
