DiskKind is designed so that understanding your Mac does not require sending an inventory of it anywhere.

What stays on your Mac

Filenames, paths, metadata, scan results, application inventory, cleanup plans, live Mac statistics and receipts remain local. The native app has no analytics, advertising, tracking, account telemetry or remote crash upload.

Licence activation

When a person activates Pro, the app sends the entered licence key, its Dodo activation instance and a random non-personal installation label to Dodo Payments. The key is stored in macOS Keychain. DiskKind does not send a hardware fingerprint or the Mac’s personal name.

Website and payment

This site uses no analytics cookies, tracking pixels or third-party marketing scripts. When checkout opens, Dodo Payments acts as merchant of record and processes buyer, payment, tax and licence-delivery data under its own notices. DiskKind’s server creates a checkout session but does not log payment details or licence keys.
